Remote Consulting for International Tour Operators
Itinerary review, Content, sales coaching and more
You Sell East Africa.
We Know It From the Inside.
A lot of tour operators and travel agencies around the world sell Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda or Uganda. But most of them have never had a conversation with someone who is actually based there, working inside the industry every day.
That is the gap we fill.
We are based in Moshi, Tanzania, right at the foot of Kilimanjaro and in the middle of East Africa’s most active tourism corridor. We consult remotely with international operators, travel agencies and destination management companies who want to sharpen how they present, package and sell East African experiences.
If your clients are asking questions you struggle to answer confidently, if your itineraries feel generic, or if your East Africa pages are not converting the way they should, this is where to start.
Is This for You?
This service is for you if any of the following sounds familiar.
- You are a tour operator or travel agency outside East Africa and you sell Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda or Uganda safaris
- Your clients ask detailed questions about destinations, lodges or logistics that you are not always confident answering
- Your East Africa itineraries feel copied from suppliers rather than built with real knowledge
- Your website’s East Africa pages get traffic but not enough inquiries
- You want to strengthen your East Africa product without having to fly someone in
- You are a DMC or incoming operator who wants an outside perspective on how your product is being presented
- You are building an East Africa travel brand from scratch and need someone who understands the market
We have worked remotely with clients in Kenya, South Africa and Colombia. Distance is not an obstacle. The right knowledge is what matters.
What We Actually Work On Together
We do not offer generic marketing advice. Everything we do is specific to the East Africa tourism market. Here is what that looks like in practice.
Itinerary Review and Development
We go through your East Africa itineraries and look at what is working and what is not. Are the routes logical? Does the timing make sense on the ground? Is the experience you are describing matching what clients will actually get? We know the difference between how a Kilimanjaro climb or a Serengeti safari is written on a website and how it actually unfolds in real life. That knowledge is what we bring to your itineraries.
East Africa Content and Copywriting Guidance
The words on your website either build trust or they do not. We review how your East Africa destinations, tours and experiences are written and give you specific guidance on what to improve. We can also guide your writer or write the content ourselves depending on what you need.
Website and Conversion Audit
We look at your East Africa pages the same way a potential client would. Where does trust break down? What is missing? What is unclear? We give you a structured breakdown of what to fix and why, with the most important things first.
Sales and Inquiry Coaching
How your team handles East Africa inquiries makes a bigger difference than most operators realise. We coach your team on tone, timing, what information to include, how to handle common client objections and how to build confidence through the inquiry process. International clients have specific expectations and knowing how to meet them is a skill.
Market Knowledge and Destination Briefings
If your team is selling East Africa without ever having been there, we can fill that knowledge gap through structured sessions. We cover destinations, lodges, logistics, seasonal considerations, client expectations and anything else your team needs to sell with confidence.
Product Development Consultation
If you are building or expanding your East Africa product and want to make sure it is positioned correctly for your market, we can help you think through the structure, pricing, experience design and how to differentiate from what is already out there.
Why Work With Someone Based in Tanzania?
Most marketing consultants who advise on African travel have visited the continent as tourists, if at all. They work from information they have gathered from suppliers, travel guides and OTA listings.
We work from something different.
After 9 years and more than 15 tour companies, we know this industry from the inside. We know which lodges deliver on their promises and which ones disappoint. We know how park permits work, how road conditions affect itineraries and how guides are trained. We know what international clients ask when they are close to booking and what pushes them away.
This is not information you can get from a brochure. It comes from years of sitting inside the industry, watching what works and what does not.
And because we work remotely with international clients all the time, you get all of that knowledge without flying anyone in.

How We Work Together
We keep this simple. Every client relationship starts with a conversation so we can understand your situation properly before recommending anything.
Step 1: Strategy Call
We spend 60 minutes understanding your business, your East Africa product and where the gaps are. This call alone usually gives you clarity on what to focus on first.
Step 2: Scope and Plan
We agree on the right structure for working together. This might be a one off audit and report, a short intensive project or an ongoing monthly advisory arrangement. We work with what your business actually needs.
Step 3: Work Begins
All consulting is done remotely through video calls, written reports and document reviews. We work across time zones and are used to collaborating with clients in Europe, North America, Asia and beyond.
We work with a small number of clients at a time. This is intentional. It means the advice you get is thoughtful and specific, not generic.
Where to Start
If you are not sure what you need yet, the Strategy Call is the right first step. It costs nothing and it gives both of us the information to decide whether and how to work together.
If you already know what you need and want to move straight into a project or retainer, get in touch, and we will agree on the right structure.
All consulting is available in USD. We accept international payments.

Questions People Usually Ask
No. We work with operators of all sizes, from solo travel consultants building an East Africa specialty to established agencies wanting to sharpen their product. What matters is that you are serious about improving how you sell East Africa.
That is actually one of the most common situations we work with. A significant part of what we do is transferring ground level knowledge to teams who are selling destinations they have not experienced personally. It is possible to sell East Africa well without visiting, but you need the right knowledge and we can provide that.
It depends on the scope. A website audit and recommendations report can be done in two weeks. An itinerary review and rewrite for a full East Africa product takes longer. Ongoing advisory retainers are monthly. We agree on a clear timeline at the start of every engagement.
We are based in Tanzania, which is East Africa Time, three hours ahead of UTC. We are flexible with scheduling and regularly have calls with clients in Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Our deepest expertise is Tanzania, including Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Zanzibar and the northern and southern circuits. We also have strong working knowledge of Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. If your product covers these destinations, we can help.
